At LiveTech, we want you to be happy with your purchase. We carefully check our products before dispatch, but if your technology product arrives damaged, defective, or is not functioning correctly, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can assist you.

1. Faulty or Defective Products

If your product is not working correctly when you receive it, please contact LiveTech within 24 hours of delivery where reasonably possible.

If you discover a fault after the first 24 hours, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery so that we can assist with the return and inspection process.

When contacting us, please provide:

  • Your order number
  • Your name and contact details
  • A description of the problem
  • Photos or videos showing the issue where applicable
  • Photos of the product and packaging if the product arrived damaged

We may ask you to perform basic troubleshooting before approving a return.

2. Returns for Defective Products

If a product is confirmed to be defective, LiveTech may arrange for the product to be returned for inspection.

The product should be returned with all accessories, charging cables, manuals, packaging and other items supplied with the product, where reasonably possible.

Once the product has been received and inspected, we will determine the appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable South African consumer law.

Depending on the circumstances, this may include:

  • A repair
  • A replacement
  • A refund

Nothing in this policy limits any rights you may have under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 or other applicable South African law.

3. Refunds

If a refund is approved, the refund will be processed using the original payment method where possible.

The time it takes for the refund to reflect in your account may depend on your bank or payment provider.

LiveTech will notify you once your refund has been processed.

4. Products Damaged During Delivery

If your order arrives visibly damaged, please contact us as soon as possible, preferably within 24 hours of delivery.

Please take photographs of:

  • The outer packaging
  • Any damage to the packaging
  • The product
  • Any damaged accessories

This information may be required to assist with the courier or delivery investigation.

5. Incorrect Product Received

If you receive a product that is different from the product you ordered, please contact LiveTech as soon as possible.

We will arrange the appropriate solution, which may include collection of the incorrect product and delivery of the correct product or a refund, depending on the circumstances.

6. Damage Caused by Misuse

Returns may not be accepted where a product has been damaged due to:

  • Accidental damage caused by the customer
  • Water or liquid damage where the product is not designed to be waterproof
  • Incorrect charging or use
  • Physical damage
  • Unauthorised repairs or modifications
  • Failure to follow the manufacturer’s instructions
  • Normal wear and tear

This does not affect any rights the customer may have where the product was defective when supplied.

7. Change-of-Mind Returns

Change-of-mind returns are subject to applicable South African consumer law and the specific circumstances of the purchase.

Where a change-of-mind return is accepted by LiveTech, the product must generally be returned in an unused and resaleable condition with its original packaging and accessories.

8. How to Request a Return

To request a return, please contact us through the contact details provided on the LiveTech website.

Please include “RETURN REQUEST” in the subject line and provide your order number and details of the issue.

Please do not send a product back without first contacting LiveTech and receiving return instructions.
